A Practical Vending Provider Switch Checklist
A better service arrangement starts with a clear handover. Replacing equipment is only one part of changing providers.
Record what is not working
List specific problems and when they occur: favorite products running out, payment failures, missed visits or unanswered support requests. Include whether different shifts or parts of the property are affected. The replacement plan should address those issues.
Check the current arrangement
Find the signed agreement, notice requirements and equipment ownership details. Confirm who can authorize removal and who has access to the property. Unanswered messages do not establish that equipment is abandoned or yours to dispose of.
Agree on the replacement scope
Compare the proposed format, product range, stocking approach, support process and site responsibilities. Explain expected daily users and any access restrictions. A new machine with an unclear service arrangement may leave the original problem unresolved.
Coordinate a feasible changeover
Align authorized removal, delivery access, electrical readiness and the new installation. Confirm who is responsible at each step and communicate any expected gap in service. Do not promise an installation date before equipment and site readiness are confirmed.
Make the first weeks useful
Provide clear shopping and purchase-support instructions, tell people how to suggest products, and review what is actually selling. A successful changeover includes the service process after opening day.
