The full checklist
Seven things worth a look.
- People and timing. Daily users, shifts, peak breaks and attendance changes.
- Available space. Width, depth, height, door swing, ventilation and a usable customer route.
- Power. Outlet position and circuit information to verify against the selected equipment.
- Connectivity. Available network options, access policies and signal where the equipment will stand.
- Delivery and service. Entry doors, lifts, security procedures and permitted stocking times.
- Products and support. What people ask for, price preferences and where purchase questions will go.
- Existing arrangements. Equipment ownership, written agreement and authorized removal if changing vendors.
You do not need to solve everything before the visit. Flagging what is still unknown is useful too.
